What Dental Issues Can We Solve?

Overcrowding

If you notice that the teeth along the top or bottom arch appear to slightly overlap or sit too close to each other, you have what is known as crowded teeth. This can pose a significant problem when trying to effectively clean between teeth and maintain optimal oral hygiene standards. You may even feel slightly embarrassed by your teeth, which can affect your self-confidence. Fortunately, Invisalign can shift your pearly whites in a way that will create the necessary space and improve your oral health and aesthetics.

Gapped Teeth

Much like overcrowding, gapped teeth also pose a problem when it comes to good oral health. Food particles and bacteria can become easily trapped in these large, open spaces. Not to mention, you may find yourself hiding behind your hands to avoid smiling in any way. Braces make it possible for your teeth to move closer together, eliminating the gap and creating a more uniform appearance that is even and ultimately, healthy.

Overbite

If your top row of teeth extends out further than the bottom row, you have an overbite. This can cause excessive wear on your bottom teeth as you bite down and attempt to close your mouth. If the enamel becomes thin or begins to fracture, you can be faced with even more necessary treatment to address these issues.

Impacted Canines

Impacted canines occur when the canine teeth don’t emerge properly, often becoming trapped beneath the gums and affecting both alignment and aesthetics. With Invisalign, carefully planned clear aligners can help guide surrounding teeth into position, creating space to support proper eruption as part of a coordinated orthodontic approach.

Crossbite

When upper teeth sit behind your lower teeth, this is known as a crossbite. This type of bite alignment issue can worsen over time, making it difficult for you to move your jaw and allow it to function normally. Braces can help to move your teeth and bite back into proper alignment and help you avoid chronic jaw pain caused by your crossbite.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a modern orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gently straighten your teeth without fixed metal braces. They’re designed to be discreet and fit comfortably over your teeth

How does the Invisalign treatment work?

After a consultation and 3D digital scan of your teeth, a custom treatment plan is created. You wear a series of clear aligners that gradually move your teeth toward the desired position — switching to a new aligner every week or so.

What is the difference between Invisalign Lite and Full treatment?

Invisalign Lite — Used for minor tooth movements and limited corrections; includes a set number of aligners.

Full Invisalign — Designed for more comprehensive orthodontic needs, includes an unlimited number of aligners to achieve your ideal smile.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment length varies depending on your individual needs and complexity of your case, but many patients see noticeable changes within months and complete treatment within about 12–18 months on average.

How often do I need to wear my aligners?

For best results, Invisalign aligners should be worn 20–22 hours a day, removing them mainly for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing.

How much does Invisalign cost at O’Neill Dental Care?

At O’Neill Dental Care, Full Invisalign for both arches is priced at around €4,595, with Single Arch options and savings available — and you can also save by paying in full upfront.

What are the benefits of choosing Invisalign at O’Neill Dental Care?

Patients benefit from

virtually invisible aligners

removable trays for easier eating and cleaning

advanced digital planning and predictable results

fewer appointments

expertise from an award-winning provider with over 2,000 treatments completed.

Is Invisalign suitable for everyone?

Invisalign can treat many common alignment issues (e.g., crowding, gaps, bite issues), but suitability depends on your individual case. A consultation with the O’Neill Dental team will determine if Invisalign is right for you.
